POLICE TO GET MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

The Ag. Inspector-General of Police, Mr. John Kudalor, on Wednesday 18th November 2015 received a team of medical experts based in the US, called Hague Pain Management Centre, at the Police Headquarters, Accra. The team of experts in medicine, which is headed by a Ghanaian, announced its decision to provide advanced health service to Ghanaians and all persons living in the country at affordable cost.

The medical body also pledged to put its expertise at the service of the Ghana Police Service, to ensure that personnel of the Service and their dependants get even more efficient and improved medical attention.

Speaking in a meeting with the Ag. Inspector-General of Police, Mr. John Kudalor, the head of Hague Pain Management Centre, Dr. Kwadwo Gyarteng-Darkwah, a former school mate of the Inspector-General of Police said that the centre would provide medical care commensurate with what pertains in the United States and Europe.  “We intend to bring health care to the door step of the people, and where necessary, assist abroad”, Dr. Darkwah said.

Receiving the team, the Ag. Inspector-General of Police expressed joy at the news and pledged the partnership of the Police for a successful project.  The entourage led by Dr. Darkwah included Donald Brown, a renowned sculptor from England; Project Director, HMCG, Mr. Daniel Nguyen and Mr. Kassim Alhassan, Ghana Representative.
