The workshop which includes the band of the Ghana Armed Forces, the Ghana Immigration Service, the Ghana Prisons Service and the Ghana National Fire Service is under the tutelage of another band known as Golden Lemon Brass from Germany.

The team which is led by Mr. Stephan Slore paid a courtesy call on the Inspector-General of Police at the Police Headquarters on 18th August, 2015. Welcoming the Golden Lemon Brass Band, the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan called for the strengthening of ties between the Police Band and their guests.

He said that there was the need for the engagement to be regularized to make it an annual affair for the mutual benefit of the two groups. Meanwhile, the 2-week capacity building programme will be climaxed with a concert which is open to all on 28th August, 2015, at the forecourt of the Police Officers Mess, Tesano Accra.
